Providing support to college students in developing their capabilities to access employment and build interfaith harmony in Multan District. Pakistan has a very young population: 21.4 per cent of the population is aged 15 to 24, while 71.8 per cent are aged less than 35 (estimates for 2013). Unemployment for young people remains a prominent concern despite some recent progress. Youth in Pakistan face various disadvantages including limited job search expertise, a mismatch between education, aspirations and employers’ requirements and a lack of mobility, among other factors. The project aims to provide students support through training them on CV development, job interview preparation, and leadership skills, provide referral services in their field of employment, and raise awareness on interfaith/inter-sectarian harmony, peace and tolerance. The project is being funded by the Creative International.
